Launch new window from Blog List

Hi

Just how does one launch an article from a list of articles in a blog into a new window.

There is an option in the menu "Link Type", but I cannot find out what this is for, or whether it could be used to open an article in the list in a new window.

Perhaps create Template override for the blog to alter how the target opens
