all folders in Sysinfo not writable Topic is solved

Hosting company just replaced server. One domain; about 190 subdomains, all but one is Joomla! Looking for ideas on what change on server will make the folders writable. I can do FPA on one site if necessary. Looking for initial thoughts.

Configuration.php should be 444 not 644. All folders appear to be 755 as they should be.

Indeed this shows "Potential Ownership Issues - Yes".

A possible option would be to run the Akeeba Admin Tools extension and use the "Fix File Permissions" utility. (Not sure if that only deals with CHMOD rather than CHOWN).

All the info I find about "CHOWN" is too technical for me to explain....just either do a search for "CHOWN" or ask your web host to assist.

It was a hosting problem. They recompiled apache with mpm-itk which solved the problem.
