Re: best joomla cache setting for shopping site
Hi. General requirements are as follows: from caching it is necessary to exclude everything that is dynamically interacting with the user. For example, adding to cart, placing an order, all types of calculation and other dynamic things that are important for the functioning of purchases.
For fine tuning of exceptions, you will need some kind of third -party component (for example JCH Optimize) and good knowledge of the code base so that you can add the necessary scripts, styles or php files to the exceptions. In Joomla there are no such fine tuning from the box.
On the store-website, the standard Joomla caching should not be ON, this will may lead to errors in the cart and in placing an orders.
If you do not have the necessary knowledge in the code base, hire a specialist for this work.

The biggest mistake is to enable the System Page Cache Plugin.

Hi. All answers were already here viewtopic.php?f=709&t=1003804&p=3707314#p3701165
Do not use the cache plugin, but use third -party extensions that can be tuned. The cache plugin has no subtle settings.
