Joomla cache plus booster plugins as JCH and PHP Fatal error CacheController.php

Hi Friends,
I've a doubt for my little Linux VPS (6MB RAM), using the plugin booster JCH on a Joomla 3.8.6.


I've enabled memcache, memchached persistent and memchached compressed. and for the same Joomla installation JCH with its own cache system (I think its own).

My doubt is: using JCH should be fine to disable the Joomla native cache or not?


My doubt born by this Apache error log:

Code: Select all

PHP Fatal error:  Allowed memory size of 134217728 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 11675312 bytes) in /var/www/mysite.it/public_html/libraries/src/Cache/CacheController.php on line 211, referer: https://www.mysite.it

Could be this error message related to the above JCH/Joomla cache configuration?


I've ask the same question to JCH Support Staff, and I will report any answer.

Looks like the php memory limit on the server is 128M.

Yes I know, but this is not my first question that is different:

using JCH should be fine to disable the Joomla native cache or this is wrong?

Joomla cache and JCE cache together is it correct?
