If i do all the things suggested by Google's Pagespeed Insights, will it really help to load fast? I don't trust this (Google's Pagespeed Insights) much!

You better trust them since they are very much correct. Your mistrust in this case is very much wrong. You better believe the score of 28/100 (btw your server/hosting infrastructure is very much to blame...piece of crap)

Mr. Per Yngve Berg, I corrected the issue you pointed on the post (about google fonts). Now the performance according to Google's PageSpeed Insights for Mobile is 58/100 and 44/100 for Desktop. According to GTmetrix the performance score for PageSpeed score is F(47%) and YSlow Score is #(53%) (see the screenshot). But accoding to GTmetrix the web is taking 11.4s to fully load. How can I optimize this website further? Please help

Follow the advise given by GTMetrix. The messages are clear. For some of the top listed issues you need to install a plugin such as JCH-Optimeze (search JED) This plugin will handle these issues as well as image optimization. You need to enable compression in Warp and gzip in Joomla (first issue). Enable caching in global config.

I have enabled gZip Compression, enabled browser caching (setting default time 1 month), compressed images, minified css and javascript files using cssnano and Uglifyjs respectively. Now Google's PageSpeed Insights is showing 92/100 for mobile and 93/100 for desktop. According to the GMetrix, 87% is for the PageSpee score and 71% is for the YSlow. Now I'm trying to further optimize this site.
