Joomla website - admin panel is slow

Post by [merrontech] » Wed Feb 06, 2019 9:17 pm

Hi I have a joomla website in which the admin panel has become extremely slow. Does anyone have any ideas what things may potentially cause this, where I can look in terms of troubleshooting / debugging?

Thanks in advance for any ideas!

In terms of troubleshooting / debugging, start here:

Can you define "slow" in terms of seconds/minutes?

It may not be your site, but your hosting environment. We will determine that once you post your FPA report as requested by @sozzled.

When was it last working satisfactorily, and what was the last thing you did before noticing the change in performance?

Here are some of the ways to trouble shoot your slow loading admin panel
1.Disabled plug-in
2.Check with the host
3.Upgrade to the latest version
4. Connectivity issue
