Site is loading VERY SLOWLY
Hello,
My Joomla site is loading VERY slowly. It is taking about two or three minutes to upload a 52k image. Who do I talk to about fixing this issue?
Thanks.

Re: Site is loading VERY SLOWLY
There are tons of possible reasons, most commons are your hosting or the CSS and Javascript load, both are easy to fix, but try to start with the CSS and Javascript

Re: Site is loading VERY SLOWLY
Run the site through GTMetrix or PageSpeed Insights and it will list recommendations for improving the site's performance.
I don't know what sort of internet connection you have - optic-fibre, wireless, cable, dial-up etc but upload speeds are always typically slower than download.
What are you uploading the image through (e.g. Joomla's Media manager or another similar extension?)

Re: Site is loading VERY SLOWLY
Minifying css would help greatly, also I would suggest to activate the cache cleaning tool from the server end. If the site is loading slowly then the coding is the problem, if the initial response time taken by the server is more, you need to check with the hosting company. You can use google page speed insights to review these for your site, its a free tool from google.

Joomla is blazing fast if you do the easy basic things. Can you give us your url link to your Joomla page so we can test?
