Updated to 3.2.7 but admin is saying 3.6.5

Hi all

After various trials and tribulations including the dreaded white screen of death on both frontend and backend I finally managed to update to 3.2.7 using the official Joomla admin update feature.

Not sure why it only showed 3.2.7 because PHP version is 5.3.29 which I believe is compatible with later versions of Joomla.

Also, now I've updated to 3.2.7 Joomla admin is saying it's at 3.6.5.

Should I quit fiddling while I'm ahead or start manually FTPing later versions of Joomla? If so where's the best place to start?

Thanks that's a very useful tool, everything looks OK and it says 3.6.5 so I'll stop fiddling.

Actually though everything looked OK the back end was broken so I went back to the start and have now successfully re-upgraded to 3.2.7 and all seems OK except it's saying there are no newer versions. I'll start a new thread using the forum post assistant. Thanks.

Can't update past 3.2.7

Hi Joomla admin is saying i have the latest Joomla version at 3.2.7. PHP version seems OK? Have tried purging cache.

Hi thanks frostmakk that manual update worked perfectly. Manually updated to 3.3.0, ran the script, went into joomla admin then it offered 3.6.5. Now all updated to the latest version.
