Upgrade to J3.6 Undefined property

Postby nfranzoso » Thu Apr 20, 2017 8:50 pm

Hello,
I upgraded to J3.6 some days ago and now I'm experiencing the following issue:

Notice: Undefined property: stdClass::$readmore in /var/www/lmfinternational/templates/ja_teline_v/html/layouts/joomla/content/item/default.php on line 116

Has anyone encountered the same issue?

Thanks to all

I would be guessing - but the error points to a problem with your template, not necessarily Joomla itself.

Is this template compatible with Joomla 3.6.x?

Are you able to swap templates (temporarily) and see if the site loads?

Are you able to get into the back end admin and re-install the template? (or perhaps an updated version of the template)?

What Joomla version were you updating from and to what specific 3.6.x version (assumption here - 3.6.5)?
Regards,

@nfranzoso This is just a notice and is no error. Just go to global configuration--> Error reporting= None and the notice is gone (Nice site btw!) and nothing to worry about. Some more info: In general a "Notification" is not to be mistaken for an error, nor is it a problem. Right now you have set Server > Error Reporting > System Default which will result in notifications being shown. The recommend and secure setting — unless actively troubleshooting and looking for an error — is None.

@Andy, Site (http://www.lmfinternational.com/) is on Joomla 3.6.5 (https://chrome.google.com/webstore/deta ... lnii?hl=en) and JA_Teline_V is released in August 2016 and fully compatible
