Error Category Blog After Upgrade Topic is solved

Hello Joomlers,

Please be informed that my site's Category Blog Menu is not working after upgrading to Joomla 3.10.2

I am receiving the following error: Call to undefined method Joomla\CMS\Uri\Uri::_()

I uploaded the latest Joomla 3.10.2 Update Package and extract it on Public_html directory but nothing changed.

Can anyone please help.

That is not how you update.

You must use Components->Joomla Update

Components >>> Joomla Update ... Upload&Update (tab) ... that might set things straight.

I already did that but it didn't work so I have extracted the update zip file in the home directory. Anything else I have to do?

Yes restore your site using your backup then update correctly

This is very hard to do now...is there any other way to fix this issue?

Not with a mish mash of files and data. If you don't have a backup can you ask the Host to roll back?

I have already removed all old incompatible extensions.

The issue is with a layout override in your template. See if an update is available, ask the developer to fix the issue if not. Or check line 93 in templates/ensure/html/com_content/category/blog_item.php.

Thank you so much SharkyKS, the issue has been solved by the template provided. They updated the override file.
