Migration errors while moving Joomla site from CentOS 6 to Oracle Linux 8

Dear All,

I am migrating my website from CentOS 6 to Oracle Linux 8 as CentOS 6 reached the end of life and no further updates are available.

My site System Information is as under :



The Joomla version for the site is 3.3.3

I imported all the dependencies required for Joomla on Oracle Linux 8. But upon surfing the site, I am getting the Error 500.

I diagnosed and came across the fatal error in /var/log/php-fpm/error.log file as under:

I feel there is something that I am missing in the Server Settings.
Is the above error yielding error 500?
Please advise and guide me on how can I proceed further with migration.

Joomla 3.3.3 is not compatible with php 8. Current is 3.10.3

Thank you very much sir, I will try updating the PHP to 7.4 and update.

I figured that out while trying to run the site with PHP version 7.4.

Now the issue is, how can I plan the migration with the current site, how to plan to upgrade the Joomla version from 3.3.3 to 3.10?

Re-writing the whole site is a cumbersome job. I tried to look out for the upgrades from the administrator site, but even after purging the cache I am getting the following issue:
