Joomla <Extensions><Manage><Install> Gives white screen hang

I’ve inherited a Joomla website with Joomla 3.6.5
The control panel states that: “an update to version 3.10.11 is available”

When I select <Extensions><Manage><Install> a completely blank white screen is displayed; there doesn’t seem to be any processing going on.


Can anyone advise please ?
