Issue when trying to update Joomla to 3.10.12

HI All

I am quite new to Joomla and I am uncertain as to how to solve the issue while trying to update to Joomla 3.10.12.
I use the Joomla Update feature but when I do the update I get the error message saying;
ERROR:
Could not open archive part file /usr/www/users/oaktrkytjc/tmp/ Joomla 3.10.12-Stable-Update_Package.zip for reading. Check that the file exists, is readable by the web server and is not in a directory made out of reach by chroot, open_basedir restrictions or any other restriction put in place by your host.

I have also tried the upload and update option but alas I get the same error.
The website then also freezes when I do so.

Please, in very simple words for me still learning the system, if someone know of a solution assist me?
