Switching to Protostar did nothing - the same blank page:

I didn't notice this answer.
I can do Mysql backup and manual backup of all files.
Aditionally I have two backups done with Akeeba backup:

site-www.genealogija.org-20170426-073626.jpa
site-www.genealogija.org-20170919-181506.jpa

The last was done in the time of crashing after updating to 3,8
The process of updating started at once without working of Akeeba backup
So, I think the last jpa will be the same like manual backup (transfering all files to my hard disk)

I have My sql exported on 20-09-2017 and can export now

Do manual backup just in case last akeeba jpa is somehow broken.

0. Make sure you have a backup of your site (files and database).
1. Download https://downloads.joomla.org/cms/joomla ... format=zip package
2. Upload it to your site root and extract it with file manager.
3. Remove installation folder.
4. Remove if exists
- /libraries/cms/version/ folder
- /includes/version.php
- /libraries/version.php
- /libraries/joomla/version.php
5. Then use https://gist.githubusercontent.com/mbab ... update.php file as described heree https://gist.github.com/mbabker/d7bfb4e ... -readme-md.

I did everything as you said and have error:
Error displaying the error page: Application Instantiation Error: Class 'JVersion' not found
Maybe AdminExille which I use is an obstacle?

P.S. I have deactivated AdminExile, but the same

I would be interested in having a look why the site is failing to update. There is a problem with the update and it would be good to look at a failure first-hand. Could you make the backup file available to me please. Reinstate your site with your backup and create a jpa file.

IMHO site-www.genealogija.org-20170919-181506.jpa was created by backup on update Akeeba plugin so before the update. I this like this because there is really small chance that Akeeba was running on broken site.

Code: Select all

<?php
$reflector = new ReflectionClass('JVersion');
echo $reflector->getFileName();
?>

I think backup was created after updating. The process started without Akeeba at once updating, than I saw error about large mysql row and maybe I tried to restore...I got errors on frontend, than restored with the last done backup and got good frontend but when I logined again I saw blank page

Good morning. It's ok that I didn't restore yesterday in the evening my April backup
Today I pasted your codes on top of template index.php,
cleared browser history and have the same:
'Error displaying the error page: Application Instantiation Error: Class 'JVersion' not found'
