Blank (error) page after upgrade 3.6.3 to 3.8.3

May I ask the forum for help?

I upgraded my joomla installation from 3.6.3 to 3.8.3 by writing files directly and got white (blank) error page.
After setting error_display to 'maximim', I got:

Fatal error: Call to undefined method JApplicationAdministrator::isClient() in /home/lab-net/public_html/plugins/system/languagefilter/languagefilter.php on line 94


Please, gimme a topic which explains the solution or type in the solution at my topic.

Not sure what you mean "You wrote the files directly"? You need to use the Joomla Update component.

Did you ensure you had all extensions up to date before the upgrade?

Did you do a backup before the upgrade (so you can restore the previous site and start over if necessary)

Can you please run the FPA (Forum Post Assistant) report and post the results to a reply here.
