Browser blank after upgrade to 3.8.8

Joomla proposed me to upgrade to version 3.8.8 - currently version 3.7.4 is installed. All components and plugins were up to date.

After I did the upgrade by means of the BE I got a bunch of Warnings:

The Browser display window remains blank and the Console Window in the browser displayed an HTTP Error 500 (and some text I did not record)
After using Extensions --> Manage --> Databases --> Fix, the Refresh Mainfest Cache failures are gone, the

There is a known issue with the Random Image module in Jv3.8.8; the quick-fix solution is to disable/stop using this module temporarily.

If you search on these Forums you will find a few threads about this and a solution.

Thank you! Random Image is in fact running. I'll disable it an retry the upgrade, than apply the patch found here:
viewtopic.php?t=962226
and report about the result.

Went back to 3.7.4.

Had no time yet to test 3.8.8 (now 3.8.10...) again.

I retried the update today. In the meantime there is the version 3.8.10 disponible and I directly upgraded to this build. The webpage updated without problems and no longer shows the white page.

However, I still had a ton of 'Warning' messages. Is that normal?

Not a big issue me think ad your update seems ok...Just go to Extensions-->manage-->discover and install all that is missing.

Go to Extensions-->manage-->database and if anything shows up hit the 'fix" button

Refresh browser and Joomla cache and you should no longer see these warnings...no worries
