Upgrading a theme designed for Joomla 3.4 to Joomla 3.9.3

Post by xironet » Wed Feb 27, 2019 11:37 pm

Hi,
I have installed Joomla 3.9.3 on my domain running PHP 7.2 (xironet.net)
Then installed a template that I had bought long ago from template monster.com (55596).
The template theme is designed for Joomla 3.4 and obviously not showing the way it shows on templetemonster site. I chatted with their agent and he said it is possible to upgrade the template to match Joomla 3.9.3.

I don't know how to do that, is there any kind person out there to show me the step-by-step the way forward?

Appreciate your response in advance.

Can be set but we need to address some specific issues.

Have you tested in a local host with a closer PHP version and saw the errors it throws?

Hi,

No I have not tested it on localhost simply because I can't get the localhost running. Every time I tried I failed, that is why I tried live host. By the way, currently it can be seen at www.xironet.net. This is a test domain. Once the site is completed I will need to move it to www.globalhostcentre.com.

Thank you

The template need to be refactored to be compatible with current Joomla version. You need a specialist to do that if you have not the knowledge

John-doe,

Thanks john, I don't mind to pay a reasonable and affordable fee to you when you have time as I am not in hurry. I can pay through paypal as well.

Regards,

Hamid
