Error in database from Joomla 2.5 to Joomla 3

I have done this successfully many times in the past, but it has been a few years since the last time.

I created a new, empty Joomla 3.9.23 site and transferred the content and categories from an old 2.5.25 site. I then created new menu items and connected all of my articles. All works fine. There was a DB error but I was able to resolve it through Admin>Manage>Database.

I then installed the Weblinks component and transferred the weblinks table over from the 2.5 to 3 site. I can see all weblinks and categories but I am getting this error when trying to save a weblink.

Save failed with the following error: Unknown column 'version' in 'field list'

I have searched for the issue and have found several similar results, but nothing that I have been able to figure out and use in my case. My database skills are somewhat limited to what I have done thus far, and maybe a little more, thus the cry for help.

Can anyone point to what I need to change/fix?
