0 Call to a createModel () member function on null

Post by maxpenzo » Fri Oct 08, 2021 6:24 pm

good morning I almost migrated joomla 1.5 to 3.0 but when I enter the data on redmigrator in the options (username, password ... etc) and click on save ... this message appears

0 Call to a createModel () member function on null

I'm not very technological but I hope you can help me step by step. Thank you

Welcome to the J! forum, Max. :)

This is a "technical" problem. I have used RedMigrator in the past (but I cannot remember the last time I used it). Before we discuss alternative approaches to migrate from J! 1.5 to J! 3.x, I have one (and only one) important question to ask you.

How much time are you prepared to spend, yourself, to go from J! 1.5 to J! 3.x?

To help you answer this question, you will need to spend several days (working eight hours every day) to finish the whole job. Therefore, how many days are you planning to spend to go from J! 1.5 to J! 3.x?

:)

I have already spent a lot of my time behind this 'migration'. I'm even redoing the site on joomla 3. I get the 404 error. I don't really know what to do. Otherwise I think I will close the site and open a new one with another provider. I am sorry.Thank you very much for the help you will give me, I hope, step by step
