Problems updating to 3.10.6

I have two websites that keep having the connection reset when attempting to update to the Joomla update. I've tried to fix the permissions via the Admin Tools but that does not fix the issue.

The master php.ini file yes but (depending on your Hosting package) you might not have access to that. If you do have access https://stackoverflow.com/questions/662 ... -to-apache

Thanks. I was able to add that to the php.ini; the path is now writable. However, the update is still timing out/connection resetting.... any ideas?

Thanks. All I'm finding at that location is a .gz file that apparently can't be unzipped (or read); unless I'm still not finding the correct log....
