Off canvas overtaking and shows as main menu

Post by mladenmladen91 » Fri Nov 26, 2021 8:29 am

Hello,

Can anyone help me? For some reason, my off canvas menu overtaking my main menu. So i have site on 2 languages and when i click on 1 page and swithc language is okay but when i click on other page its open in off canvas. Page on DE language is okay but on SR is off canvas for some reason. If u go "marketing-verkauf" on DE page and swithch to SR language it okay display "marketing-prodaja" but if you click on "marketing-prodaja" its shows me "marketing-prodaja-2" and for SR language "-2" is for offcanvas pages and "-m" is for DE offcanvas pages. Anyone knows whay that happens and how offcanvas can be in main menu?

I believe that you are having two different menu items that are identical/same.

If you are having two different menu items that are the same, I would suggest having one menu item in the Main Menu and another menu item in the off-canvas menu as the Alias of the menu item in the Main Menu.

Hmm, i dont understand u quite well, how you mean two different menu items are same? I got main menu and off canvas all pages from off canvas are same as in main menu just have different alias name. And for some reason off canvas menu take over main menu. Any idea why is that?

Thank you

If two menu items are the same. Generally, it is a good practice to avoid confusion, to have one of the menu item as the primary menu item and another one as the alias of the primary menu item. Of course, for both menu items the alias would be the same.

I do not know. You may have to check with the Helix framework developer.
