Missing Luxembourgish language

I'd like to install Luxembourgish language (yes, it's a language! ), but I cannot find it neither in Joomla (3.2.1), neither on joomlacode. I'd be happy to hear suggestions, merci!

If you know the language, maybe you could do the translation and make it available through the Translation Project

I didn't know that Luxembourgish was language. I always thought that German and French were the spoken languages in Luxembourg.

In short: Copy language files from another language (e.g. German),
change the language code to Luxembourgish ("lb-LB" ?) and start translating.

It's a lot of work so maybe you find some other Joomla users in Luxembourg to help you out & share the work load...

The two digit alpha code of ISO 3166-1 for Luxembourg is LU.

So, the language code would be lb-LU (Luxembourgish-Luxembourg)

Hi

I realized already a few number of joomla sites and since I do live in Luxembourg, we sometimes write in Luxembourgish, depending on who we want to address. I' d like to contribute to create this language pack. Is there anybody from Luxembourg who started something?
Luxembourgish is quite close to the german language, so in fact it's logical to use the german language pack for creating le lb-LU pack.

ps.: In our small country we are used to use French, German and Luxembourgish on a daily base... English is beginning to get one important language for us in different sectors and cities ...
