Google ads in admin page
I install ukrainian language and see Google ads in admin page. Its seems for me, its not a good practice for translators to use Open Source CMS for own enrichment and install Google ads in admin section without user's permission. The ads are on administrator/index.php page
Can you help me to delete it? How I do it?

Re: Google ads in admin page
You point well taken.
We will inform Denys (http://forum.joomla.org/memberlist.php? ... le&u=30343) the Translation Coordinator of the Ukrainian language about this and request him to have a look into what is happening.
It would be useful if you could answer the questions below:
(a) From where the Ukrainian language pack has been downloaded for install?
(b) Did the Advertisements appear only after the install of the Ukrainian language pack?
(c) What happens if you Uninstall the Ukrainian language pack?
(d) Can you install the language pack in a new Joomla! installation and check whether the same behavior is exhibited?
(e) From where the Stable Full Version of Joomla! has been downloaded?
(f) What version of Joomla! is being used?
(g) I would suggest doing the test (d) mentioned above in a different PC/laptop/machine and see what happens.
Note:
From the screenshot it appears that you are using Joomla! 3.4.1. Be informed that the current stable version of Joomla! is 3.4.4

Re: Google ads in admin page
I use Joomla 3.4.4 and I downloaded it from Joomla.org.
Ukrainian localization get here joomla-ua.org/localization, the site belong to Denys.
On the other hand, who can confirm, that I get only ads banners in my admin page, not some script with hidden links or malware??

Re: Google ads in admin page
There is a possibility that your PC/Laptop/Machine may be infected with some kind of virus.
The answers to my points (a) to (g) would help to understand where the problem lies.

Re: Google ads in admin page
Thanks for the input.
We have requested Denys to look into this issue.
My point (g) is about installing a new instance of Joomla! in an environment other than the current environment and testing it.
I have installed the Ukrainian language pack on a fresh install of Joomla! 3.4.4. I am not seeing the Google Ad.
Could you please do the following test and report back?
- Download the Full Stable Version of Joomla! (i.e., Joomla_3.4.4-Stable-Full_Package.zip) from https://www.joomla.org/announcements/re ... eased.html
- Install Joomla! in a New Directory using the Stable Version downloaded in the previous step
- Download the Ukrainian language pack (i.e., uk-UA_joomla_lang_full_3.4.4v1) from http://joomlacode.org/gf/project/jtrans ... ge_id=6451
- Install the Ukrainian language pack using the Admin menu item Extensions -> Manage -> Install
- Go to the Control Panel using System -> Control Panel
- Check whether the Google Ad is showing up
Thanks.

Re: Google ads in admin page
@Mig
The problem is NOT with the ukranian language pack that can be installed from inside of Joomla and is hosted on joomlacode
The problem is with a localisation pack that can be downloaded from the top of this page http://joomla-ua.org/localization
If you download that and unzip it locally you will see that there is an additional admin module being installed into the users site which contains an iframe to display the news and adverts in the users admin cpanel. This is what you are seeing in the screenshot

Re: Google ads in admin page
@vitrolov the easy way for you to fix this on your site is to uninstall this additional module from Extensions->Manage->Manage
Find the module in the list - I am guessing it is called either (Новини Joomla! Україна) or (ju_news). Select it and then click uninstall
