Language tag not changing

Hello

I develop a joomla multilanguage site and i have some issues.
I setup the multilanguage and everything is ok unless the language tags.
The default language is set to english and when i select french the language tag is set also to english (en-GB) instead to french(fr-FR).
Can someone help me with this issue?

In the screen "Tags: Options" (Components => Tags : Options), in the tab "Item Selection", for the option "Language Filter" choose the value "Current" and see what happens.

Do you mean the language tag or a menu item displaying tags?

Please first enable the Multilingual Administrator module and display its results in the modal window. Take a screenshot of that modal and post here.

Strange it appears 2 german language but i have only one

There is indeed obviously something wrong in your settings as de-DE is listed twice.

I removed german language everything is ok but the html language tag is only english....even on ro and fr pages

It is quite difficult to help you without access to your site as Super User.

The problem may be multiple.
Can you first test using Protostar as default frontend template to see if it solves the issue.
Then you may contact me by PM or mail if you like with the necessary credentials.

If everything looks fine then the issue may come from a 3rd party extension, specially system plugins.
You may want to disable them and see which one is the culprit by re-enabling them one by one.

I do it a fresh install and seems the problem exists wihout any plugin installed

Solved partial following the steps posted here https://github.com/joomla/joomla-cms/pull/13450.

I install adsmanager component and than the issue is back.

I really can't help further without access to your backend as super user.
It would help if it was on a fresh 3.7.4 install
