Language filter ISSUE after upgrading to 3.8

Postby Oleg11 » Tue Oct 17, 2017 2:26 pm

I have a new issue after upgrading from 3.7.5 to 3.8.1.

Remove URL Language Code set to YES - it never has changed , used same as before the upgrade

The problem is that v3.8.1 remove ( /de /en /ro etc.) language codes from the url for the default language only.

If the default language is en, then /de /ro still exist, but /en is not, removed the language code as it should do

This seems to be a Joomla router / language filter BUG.

The Site default language will not use the url language code when Remove Language code is set to Yes. Normal behaviour.

Before update there were no language codes in the urls - no matter was a default language or not.

I wish to get all the urls back without language codes.

That could NOT have happened when using the core multilingual feature. It is just impossible.
