Multilang Joomla site from years, regularly working. Joomla updated to the last version.

Default lang is "en", secondary lang is "it" (my own language, so that for me pages open always on "it" lang).

From today, the "it" lang don't works more, I have a "Forbidden. You don't have permission to access /it/ on this server" answer from the server.

So I have changed the italian lang suffix to "ita"... site works.

Then I went again back to the "it" siffix (since on the web there are several links to the "/it/..." pages): "Forbidden. You don't have permission...."

WHY???

Where is the "Stop!!" that bloks the php code to process the "it" suffix" ?

Take note that, as italian, if I write:

https://psmate.com/fr/

I get a error like "https://psmate.com/ita/de/..... Page not found" ... while writing "https://psmate.com/it/" I have a "Forbidden" message.

What can be happened, today after years, so that the "it" suffix in damned? And WHERE is this damnation? I have NOT found any reference to a "it" suffix in the database.

I can access to https://psmate.com/it/ with no problem.

In fact from some hours site works.

I have renamed a "it" subfolder (present from YEARS) and now all works.

Why after years yesterday the site went in crash for the presence of a "it" subfolder, created years ago without any problem, remains a mistery.
