How to get my site translated?

I'd like to have my site translated into 3 languages, but unfortunately, my own level of the languages isn't great - is there an auto language converter you can recommend? I'm based in the UK and looking for French, Spanish and German. Thanks in advance.

Google translate is as good as most.

Thanks gws. How does that work please? Would I copy and paste my text into Google, let it translate, then paste it back into my new page in the translated language? Or is there an automated way to do it when the visitor visits my site? Much appreciated.

Thanks gws, this looks great. I'm in the process of switching from wordpress to Joomla, and the extensions on Joomla seem to be excellent, thanks for your help.
