JFactory::getApplication('site') retorna Error

Buen dia.
Me encuentro con el problema que al subir mi aplicación local a un hosting, la aplicación no funciona y devuelve el mensaje de Error al invocarse la función JFactory::getApplication('site') en el index.php.

Me podrán ayudar con ese problema?. Localmente funciona perfectamente.
