No languages listed in Extensions > Install Languages

Hi,

I have J3.8.10 on my sites. I have a site that is set to multi-language with English installed. I am trying to install additional languages but they are not showing up in the Extensions > Install Languages screen. I get the error:
"Warning - The update table is not up to date. Please rebuild your update server table".

When I click the link to Extensions > Update Sites > Rebuild, it does not fix the problem. I searched this forum and found this post from a year ago. It says this a Joomla code error but I don't know why J3.8.10 doesn't have that update. Or do I need to manually delete the old Joomla language files to get the new update working?

I try to follow the J help doc steps but I can't get the languages to list in my site admin backend:

I am having this same problem on all my sites, but there is only one that I need the multi-language feature of Joomla enabled. So it must be a J code bug from the prior versions of Joomla that didn't get updated/fixed when I installed the upgrades for Joomla (as mentioned in the linked forum post).

If you are having issues for installing languages in the screen "Extensions: Install Languages", you could download the desired languages from the URL https://community.joomla.org/translatio ... tions.html and install them just like any other extensions.

By the meantime, let us wait for others to chime in what the issue could be.
