Friendly urls in a subfolder site

Hello

I have Joomla installed in a subfolder in my site, let's say http://mysite.com/newjoomla.

My current site is in http://mysite.com and I am working in the new site in http://mysite.com/newjoomla

I have activated friendly urls in my new joomla but after activation the urls changes to something like this: http://mysite.com/es-es/newjoomla/es

And I get an 404 error

How can I fix this?

Is the site developed is a multilingual site? If not, please do not Enable the plugin "System - Language Filter".

Providing the site's URL would help in seeing how things are structured and offer suggestions.

You need to disable "Language Filter" plugin and then resave friendly URL settings.
