image names + alt text multi language

Question for a multi language site;
- should I use different names & meta description for better seo?
- or are meta descriptions most important for each language?

Already have full site ready, is it possible to duplicate and rename images (if necessary)?

Sure is, and no one seems to have a clear answer.
All seo tools check meta description. Some say image names 'are' important.
But for multi language nothing can be found. And I didn't find a multi language site who's using it.
So any help is welcome.

Yes you need to use multiple language meta and alt tags info for multiple language website.

Thanks, but does it make much difference to also rename images for each language?

We use keywords in our image file names. It does seem to help SEO. It can't hurt to have image file names in each language.
