best way to load analytics, tagmanager and recaptcha

Post by Passie_1_5 » Fri Feb 19, 2021 12:43 pm

While trying to get better pagespeed there's some scripts constantly bothering me.
I'ts analytics, tagmanager and recaptcha. All google products ;)

Right now I simple copy/paste this in my site but I guess there must be a better way to do this.
Reading to load scripts after page load using plugins.

Hope someone has some this how to use these without losing speed?

I'm also using JCH, so maybe there's some experience with this in combination with google scripts.

Thanks and regards,

Pas

Might be just a PRO setting on JCH, but you can certainly load scripts after the page.
See:

Don't HACK the Joomla! core, Instead "Extend" and/or "Override."
Stay ON the update path.

Thanks, but as last part explains:
"Most times, ironically, these files tend to be Google Analytics, Google Maps, Google Ad files, or social media files. Check the HTML source for the links of the files that are triggering this error. If they are not in the source then it means they were loaded dynamically. In this case there's nothing the plugin can do to address this. The only remedy unfortunately is to avoid using the applications that load these files on your site or on your landing pages to the best extent possible."
So I wonder if this can be fixed by using other methods ...
