Re: How to install Google Analytic in Joomla?
I can think of two options:
1. Obtain a suitable extension (plugin) such as this one but otherwise just search the JED. You will need the Analytics 'id code' so it knows what site it is monitoring.
2. Copy and paste the Google-provided code - Google provide instructions. The code is obtained from your Google (Analytics) account.
Not sure why this was posted in "SEO" forum as it's not related to search engines specifically

Some templates and template frameworks have options to include third party analytics code to the template to be part of the head or body of the page.
You can also find Joomla extensions that do the job in the following JED categories:

Re: How to install Google Analytic in Joomla?
I will suggest you NOT to use any plugin. Just find your theme's settings and 90% probably there will be an option for custom html at HEADER area.
There you should enter the analytics tracking code.
There you should enter the analytics tracking code.
If you do not programm your life, someone else will do it for you.

Re: How to install Google Analytic in Joomla?
There are several ways to connect Google Analytics to the website with Joomla. A plugin like Asynchronous Google Analytics can be used. The tracking code can also be applied using your template.
