One article twice within one menu

Good day,

I have a question about Joomla's menu.

I need to have one article in two submenus of the same menu. Both menu items must have the same alias, because of SEO. I have tried to create menu item alias, but it doesn't seem to work within the same menu.

Any suggestions on how to solve my problem?

Try the following:

- Make the first menu item to be of the type Single Article and link the article to this menu item
- Create the second menu item to be of the type Menu Item Alias (under System Links) and for the option Menu Item (that is under Advanced Options) choose the menu item created in the previous step

The links to a single url only count once per page so, as long as it's the same page you are linking to it doesn't matter how many menus you'll make for it, 1, 2... 10 - all same

In my opinion doing this is not good from search engine optimization point of view. If he same article is posted in the two sub menus, it is not going to serve any purpose. Instead you must focus on posting new and unique information.
