W3C Invalid Markup (Keword Title)

Post by sambob » Tue Mar 26, 2013 9:50 pm

Hi All,

Bit of a curly one I cannot seem to nut out.

Went to check W3C Validation and and came back with "Bad value title for attribute name on element meta: Keyword title is not registered."

Results here:http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=http% ... 2Fservices

If I comment out $buffer .= $tab . '<meta name="' . $name . '" content="' . htmlspecialchars($content) . '" />' . $lnEnd; in the head.php, it validates but also removes keywords from pages.

The element which is invalid is <meta name="keywords" content="Magnets, Neodymium Magnets, Ferrite Magnets, Flexible Magnets" /> , which looks the same as my other sites so not sure why this is.

Site is http://magnet.com.au

Any pointers on this greatly appreciated!

can you remove your head tag
<html slick-uniqueid="3">

and replace it with
<html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml" xml:lang="en" lang="en">
then revalidate
