Duplicate content showing in my webmasters tools

Post by paulbkk » Mon Jul 22, 2013 2:56 pm

I'm having a problem with duplicate content. I think it has something to do with my featured articles. I only have one featured article on the home page of my website. The problem shows as below. I think I need to change the settings somewhere. As when I click on each link, they show as a featured article on my home page!!! Anyone can help?

I don't know precisely what happened, but the duplicate content I had was of this following
1. I had url issues with my index.php, my IP, and the variance of url types that were pointing to my site, eg www. or without www. and /index.php without the /index.php
all this was corrected from domain redirect and setting up .htaccess to call it correctly.
2. My duplicate content was also of similar page meta tags, I have two home pages, one is .php and the other is .html (the thing I did was just to edit the meta tags and place the no index no follow on the one that is irrelevant and restrict the indexing via robot.txt file)
I hope this helps.
