Easy (and legit) way to restore my joomla SEO ranking?

Postby blgmgl » Sat Sep 02, 2017 3:42 pm

Hi,

I was stupid enough not to renew my domain payment (was absent out for too long) and now my site is ranking nowhere on keywords it used to be.

So, now, how do I restore my SEO ranking (in Google search)? Honestly, I don't want to spend my time on restoring my SEO rank. It's time consuming and painful, and moreover, I have other important projects. Will it go up automatically? Are there easier way to restore your SEO ranking?

Thanks,

well if you didnt renew your joomla domain (or hosting) then your site is offline and obviously if it no longer exists it wont be there for the search engines or others to find. not being found means you will fall off the charts. what is the url?

i am not sure where you say about you didnt renew your payment, your site is online,
follow the standard rules,
update your site regular and the search engine will come
. post to the g-seo webmaster forums for more detailed advice about getting higher in the search engine.
all the advice you get here will be non specific and usually repeats the above two lines in various ways.

Thank you.

English isn't my native, so, sorry if I confused you.

So here's what happened in time order.
1. The site was down for a week due to expired domain payment.
2. As soon as I made a payment, the site went back online.
3. I searched Google for keywords that usually rank my website at the top (words like Mongolia travel news, Mongolia airport transfer and etc.), buy couldn't see my website in the results.

Okay, so now I have to do everything again, got it.
Thank you again.

Sounds like the site was down long enough for Google to notice and they removed you from their index. Google does not like serving deceased domains in their results.

When the site went live again, Google will not instantly re-index your site. They have a lot to do with billions of site out there. You gotta give it some time.

Once the site was live again did you go to Google Search Console and Fetch as Google then request indexing?

I searched site:magnificentmongolia.com on Google and found 3K + results indexed.

Hey, DaveOzric,

Thanks for Google indexing request tip!

Seems like it's all still there, just like you said it needs some time!

Thanks a lot!
