problem with redirection after update to 3.8

Hi i use standart joomla redirection component. on version 3.7.5 all work fine but after update to j3.8 to redirection link added link with domain name and it looks like

https://mydomain.com/https://mydomain.com/page

whats wrong and how to fix that?

for example now my rule looks like:

source url - https://mydomain.com/broken_link
redirect url - https://mydomain.com/new_link

or i need remove my domain from redirection link but...

how to be if i need redirect broken link to some another domain?

Have you seen the redirection component in joomla? You can manually do this without editing the htaccess file.
