Duplicate Content when changing from summer to winter contents

Post by nillpferd » Thu Oct 12, 2017 1:30 pm

We've got the following website:

http://www.hotel-wiesenegg.at/

where a massive growth of duplicate content happend after all summer contents (Header-Carousel, sidebar contents, ... ) have been changed to winter contents.
(mostly a change of modules)

eg.
https://www.hotel-wiesenegg.at/de/winte ... /15-winter
https://www.hotel-wiesenegg.at/de/hotel ... /15-winter
https://www.hotel-wiesenegg.at/de/hotel ... /15-winter
https://www.hotel-wiesenegg.at/de/hotel ... /15-winter
https://www.hotel-wiesenegg.at/de/bike/ ... /15-winter
https://www.hotel-wiesenegg.at/de/bike/ ... hill/15-wi...
https://www.hotel-wiesenegg.at/de/bike/ ... /15-winter
https://www.hotel-wiesenegg.at/de/bike/ ... /15-winter
https://www.hotel-wiesenegg.at/de/somme ... /15-winter
https://www.hotel-wiesenegg.at/de/somme ... /15-winter
https://www.hotel-wiesenegg.at/de/somme ... /15-winter

and so on.

What confused us: Every other link ended with "winter".

This never happened before. ?!

Does anybody know what we can do to reduce these duplicate contents?

Joomla-Installation:
at the time when this happend 3.8.0
now 3.8.1

PHP 7.0.9 CGI/FastCGI

Just set up a canonical url and/or 301 redirects. That will solve it.
