joomla sites URLs contain duplicate domain names

Hi,

I am fairly new to joomla, and i just migrated a site, so I don't know if this issue existed prior, but there appears to be duplicate page URLs but with duplicate domain names in the url

For example https://mywebiste.com/index.php/services/frying/ no problem then there is https://mywebiste.com/mywebiste.com/ind ... es/frying/ - which is wrong but does show the same page!

How can this be fixed I read about disabling SEF, but that doens't seem to have had an effect.

Any ideas would be most helpful.

Try this -

Go to your article manager
Click "Options" in the top right
Click the "Integration" tab
Change URL Routing to "Modern"

Hit save.

I'm assuming you have a valid htaccess file in place.

Also assuming that in the global configuration "Search Engine Friendly URLs" is set to yes and "Use URL Rewriting" is also set to yes.

Hi

Sorry for the delay where is 'URL Routing' as I am using Joomla 3.7 and there is no URL routing.

I have removed the Index.php which is great so now all URLs are even better, but the wierd ones still remain.

Update to the most current version of Joomla! - 3.8.8 as of today.
