same page shown with a seo friendly url & non seo url.

Hi all,

I'm working on a website and sometime I've seen the same page being shown with a seo friendly url and non seo url.

EG;
https://schoolsshow.co.uk/talks/parents ... ents-forum

https://schoolsshow.co.uk/talks/parents ... dedItems=0

OR

https://schoolsshow.co.uk/shows

https://schoolsshow.co.uk/shows?resetSearch=1

Can anyone tell me how to fix this?

This is probably happening because you have a form with a reset button that calls that URL. If it's a custom form you could use POST rather than GET, or when clearing a form redirect directly to the main page.

If it is a big concern, another option would be to set a Canonical URL on the search results page.
