Hi Guys,

I am in the final stages of setting up my website and am now trying to sort out sitemaps and SEO. This error:

failed to load resource blocked by client.jpg

started appearing randomly when a) I go through a login process during checkout and b) it also pops up when I try to create a site map with OSMaps. (there might be more errors like this but these are the ones I found) I can open html sitemap fine but not xml and news. I get this error below. I also get these errors when I try to use an online sitemap checker.

I apologise in advance if this caused by a stupid mistake. I am a very basic joomla user and don't know a whole lot about coding so I am at a loss what I need to do to even try and fix this. I have searched for an answer and while I have found quite a bit with this error, most lead to a dead end for me. I have probably done something I shouldn't have but I can't think what it could be as I always keep a not of changes I make and test and revert back if something doesn't work. I don't know when the error started unfortunately.

The only code I changed was some template css and I had a script for facebook pixels placed in the head tag. I have removed it but the error persists. Also, when looking a the HTML I can see a message saying 'blocked by client.' (pic attached) Maybe my host blocking something?

As I have said, I can just about get by creating a site with basics but when it comes to something like that I am at a loss so any help greatly appreciated!

Most "page not found" errors are caused by a broken menu item or items. The FPA report doesn't contain details of menu items. Sorry.

The pages do show but it's a weird 'page can't be found message' popup that isn't the 404 article if that makes sense. Anyway, I'll keep trying different things. I appreciate you taking the time to reply.

Could you test it with Joomla's default Protostar template?
If you cannot reproduce it with Protostar, then it is template (template override) related.

If the issue also occurs with Protostar, then switch OFF Search Engine Friendly completely,
to see the real URL, like index.php?option=com_content&view=category&layout=blog&id=11
It might give you more pointers about the cause of the issue.

Hi Pe7er, thanks for trying to help.

It turned out to be the OSmap component. I have disabled it, and everything seems to be working now. I haven't had a chance to get to the bottom of why this happens when OSmap is enabled yet, but at least it's not something more serious that couldn't easily be fixed. I appreciated your time.
