Bootstrap menu dropdown

Hello,
I'm using this bootstrap template on my site:

It gives a vanilla base template, that I'm in the process of developing to fit the clients needs:

My question is regarding the menu, the menu items that have dropdowns are also linked to articles. However, because they have sub items they do not function as menu links, clicking on them only activates the dropdown it does not then take you to that page.

Can anyone help? What do I need to modify?

Not familier with B4 as I have used B2 with J!3 and now B5 with J!4.
