breeze template and background

Post by svavakim » Sat Sep 25, 2021 2:30 pm

Hi there,

I am using the breeze template first time for this new website: https://wdf.stat.ch/.
I cannot find out how to remove the small text below the large font title of the article:

Details Geschrieben von Administrator Kategorie: Willkommen bei der SDG's Webseite Veröffentlicht: 21. September 2021 Zugriffe: 85

How can I remove it?

And, HOME in large black font below the menu botton home is useless. Can it be removed?

Also, I cannot find how to change the background color white to grey.

Can you change the background color at all?

I have attached a screenshot of the page as demonstration.

Many thanks for your help.

Hi.
The first thing - if you create a new site, why do you use Joomla 3? Use Joomla 4.

You can turn it OFF in Global articles settings, in menu item settings, in single article settings

If this not exist in the template style settings, then it can be done only via css.

Code: Select all

body {
	background-color: gray;
}

Not many 3rd party extensions for J4 yet are there?

Hi Pavel,
thank you.
I have attached a screenshot of my CSS file I have created to change the background color, did I place it in the wrong folder?
So far my site stays white: wdf.stat.ch

My new problem is to hide the menu item Home bar from the page.
Can it also be hidden? I think I changed almost all settings to hide already...

Many thanks again to help.
Best

Hi. Folder is right, but file name not sure. Look at template documentation to find right custom css file name.

Yes. It can be hide via css, but it's not right way. It should be hidden via settings. See my screenshot above
