align logo in footer info

Post by spadajoker » Thu Aug 11, 2022 8:29 am

hello everyone, I have two small problems that I would like to solve but I need some help with the html code since I am a layman.
I need to center the logo found in the footer with the contact text: what should I put in the code to align it to the center?

in addition, there is the logo of the site that when it goes to smartphone display is not centered and I would like to center it too.

thanks to those who can help me.

the site is this: www.aroma-massage.it (template is shaper helix)

Try this

Code: Select all

footer#sp-footer div.custom img {
  max-width: 150px;
	margin: 0 auto 1em;
}
footer#sp-footer div.custom:last-child {
	margin-top: -52px;
}

hi dear, thanks for the reply.
but i would like to be able to do it without touching the helix template.
The code I wrote in the custom module is as follows:

Code: Select all

<img src="images/logo.png" alt widht="150" height="107"/>
<p>
  Aroma massage snc - Estetica e Benessere
  <br>
  Via Ferrante Ruiz, 12 12a 12b - 00168
  <br>
  Roma Torrevecchia
</p>
<i class="fas fa-phone"></i>
</i>
<a style="color: inherit; margin-left: 0.5em;" href="tel:0039 06.3054248">+39 06 3054248</a>
<br>
<i class="fab fa-whatsapp"></i>
</i>
<a style="color: inherit; margin-left: 0.5em;" href="https://wa.me/393498224567"> +39 349 8224567(WhatsApp)</a>
<p>
  <i class="far fa-envelope"></i>
  </i>
<a style="color: inherit; margin-left: 0.5em;" href="mailto:aromamassage@hotmail.it">aromamassage@hotmail.it</a>
</p>
<i class="fa fa-facebook"></i>
</i>
<a style="color: inherit; margin-left: 0.5em;" href="https://www.facebook.com/aroma.massagebenessere/?ref=bookmarks">Seguici su Facebook</a>
<br>
<i class="fa fa-instagram"></i>
</i>
<a style="color: inherit; margin-left: 0.5em;" href="https://www.instagram.com/aromamassage_roma/">Seguici su Instagram</a>

is there a way to add attributes directly into this code to center the logo?

Where did I write that you have to modify the Helix template? ???

I wrote that you need to create some customised CSS file, add the rules I suggested, so that the Helix template makes use of it. I don't know anything about the Helix template. You may need to contact the authors of your template and ask them how to create your own custom CSS files. I don't use Helix templates in any of my work.

I tried but it does not save the changes to the css, I tried both from the direct template on joomla and working on the css file locally and then I reloaded it, but nothing does not keep the new changes

What was the name of the file that you edited and saved where you added the CSS I suggested?

You are caching your web pages. Clear the server cache and clear the browser cache.

It's not a good idea when you're developing a website to be using caching. ;)

it is the first thing I do every change, I delete the server and browser cache, but nothing changes, if I go to reopen the css there are no longer the css rules that you suggested and that I entered

I repeat: I do not know how to create a custom CSS file with Helix; you need to talk to the Helix people and ask them how to do that. The file named template.css is not used by your website. I suggest that you completely disable caching on your website until you have solved this problem.

Perhaps someone else who knows how to create custom CSS files with Helix can advise you. This is not a J! problem: this is a "Helix problem".

ok, I don't know if this can help but helix offers the possibility to set some parameters through its layout, maybe if I insert something here it could go?

No!

I don't know anything about Helix templates. Maybe you have to create a file called <my-custom-rules-special-filename>.scss somewhere and re-compile the template? Talk to Helix or wait for someone who may know how to create custom CSS files that work with Helix.

I doubt that you can just edit the template.css file; this is not how people perform custom CSS changes.

Why you don't want "touch Helix template" lol? You even don't need it, jus open layout and here you can add one full-width row, put name you want, put position inside, like "position1" and name of your css class, like "middle". Then in custom.css you define your .middle
