I'm not sure what you mean.

I think you want the "read more" function, so you have to place that say, after the first paragraph of the post. Readers will see "read more" and that link will open the full article.

Or do you mean you want to restrict who can read the content e.g. Public vs Registered. In which case you need to set the articles as 'registered'.
