If some of the installed templates let's you edit the style but one does not (when I click that template the next screen does not open) what could it be? I think it is a file related to that template, but not sure which one. Joomla version: 3.10.11

Thanks

Before trying to solve issues in older software, you'd better update to the latest version in that series.
In your case first update to Joomla 3.10.12.

It might be a file/folder permissions issue. Could you check the file/folder permissions using FTP (eg FileZilla) and compare those with the permissions of the files/folders that you are able to edit?

Also check if the owner/group of those files/folders is the same as the ones that you can edit.

Hi

Thanks for your answer. I updated to the latest 3.x version but I think it is a php error... the log error report shows me something related to ModSecurity... I ran FPA (latest version) and it does not show any errors.. so I contacted my host to see if they can help.

can you post the FPA report to the forum (that's the idea of that utility to enable others to review your hosting and joomla install). It would also indicate if any PHP extensions (ModSecurity) were missing.

ModSecurity is a firewall type application supported by Apache and Nginx. If its rules have been configured incorrectly or they are too restrictive, some back end requests can fail and cause errors to be reported. If that is the case, the host will be able to find a remedy.
