Switch site template and get 500 error

Hello,

I have Joomla 3.8.7 and use 3rd party for my site template. I just noticed that when I tested to switch the site template from the one I am currently using to any other site templates, even Protostar, I got 500 error.

Please advise.

Thank you for your suggestion. I just found out that one of the K2 file was missing. When I added that file, I can switch the template.
