Problem with T3_bs3_blank template

Post by clambert » Fri Jun 11, 2021 11:11 pm

I'm new to Joomla. My total experience consists of 9 days. Our site is using the T3_bs3_blank template. If I go to templates:style:layout I see what must be hardcoded text in the template. In the attached screenshot notice
up.png
you can see the template regions, a hardcoded heading. and right above the heading is the word "up." I need to remove "up" as its not supposed to be there.

How can I remove "up" from the template? Should text be hardcoded into a template?

May it be the site name? try to change it from System>Global Configuration >Site Name. If it is not the site name then zip your template and add here so we will have a look.

I found the cause. It was hardcoded into mainbody.php before the opening tag.
