Remove component/search seo spam japanese

Post by vladmirgomes » Wed Jan 09, 2019 9:25 pm

Greetings !

I've had the site invaded by Japanese spam and I'm having a hard time locating and deleting it.
Through the and sites I noticed that several spam are being launched by component / search links
component / search /? Itemid = 226 & catid = 40 & id = 98 & format =

opensearch and load xml files such as

<? xml version = "1.0" encoding = "utf-8"?>
<OpenSearchDescription xmlns = ""> <ShortName> site </ ShortName>

What do I do when I want to remove a joomla core component?
01 - Can I just get the component / search folder on localhost and paste it on my site? that simple ?

I also saw in some forum to block the component joomla via htacess
RewriteRule ^ s /(.*)$ component / search / $ 1 [NC]
do not understand, but also did not work and do not know if this official to stop the spam

(I'm using google translator, in case something seems meaningless, if it's not my mistake it's google ...)

I don't know of a solution.....but removing a core component won't do much good - it will be back with the next Joomla update.
